Uncle Sun The Official Ambassador of our shared celebration of LIFE, FREEDOM, EQUALITY, and ONE LOVE. The existence of life on this planet in our universe is the ultimate testament to what we owe The Sun. The one and only source of energy to power the day-to-day for all living things, without discrimination. Never needing a day of rest, unlike the rest of us, Sunrise and Sunset come without fail, without asking, brightening our dark days and nights. Uncle Sun is our eternal reminder of a new day and new beginnings. He is fierce and terrifying, with the power to literally incinerate all of life on this planet. But with that power we instead find cool mornings at home, warm afternoons spent with friends and family, and his grand exit at the end of everyday with the ultimate master artist himself painting mind blowing sunsets to all on this spinning rock. Like the smile on Uncle Sun’s face, the mascot and spiritual leader of the Esan Keow collective of like-minded and like-hearted individuals all over the world, we all get to share in the magic of that sunset and sunrise together, wherever we are. This year in Northeast Thailand we are once again celebrating our deep connection to the world with MUSIC, LOVE, BROTHERHOOD, ART, and SOLIDARITY FOR ALL LIVING BEINGS! Call us “crazy” or “highland hippies” or whatever you want!
